Sy Mobley Tshaye-Weta “Sy” Mobley is a choreographer, dancer, singer and actor. He teaches hip-hop, modern, and specializes in African dancing. He worked and showcased his talents in many areas ranging from theater productions, musicals, dance concerts, weddings, quinceaneras and various staged projects. In 1992, Sy performed with Unity African Dance & Theater Company in Boston, Massachusetts for the former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. Sy began to future his passion in dance at Fullerton College under the direction of Ms. Melanie Kay Rosa. Sy was offered a full scholarship to Chapman University after performing a self choreographed dance solo, titled “Overcomers” which was selected for the Southwest Region American College Dance Festival Gala 2008. Sy also dances with Leon Mobley & Da Lion, Amenne African Drummers & Dancers. Sy has accomplished achieving his Bachelor’s Degree in Dance with Minor in G.L.B.T. studies, from Chapman University’s College of Performing Arts 2011.

Marlena Shaw Marlena fell in love with the rhythms and music of the Middle East and North Africa. After studying with several Master Instructors, she developed a passion for Egyptian style including its cultural history. She has over ten years’ experience teaching and performing in Middle Eastern restaurants in LA and OC and regularly dances at weddings, parties, and special events. She was a co-creator and co-hostess for an OC Middle Eastern and International show with live Arabic music. Currently, she is one of the house dancers at the Marrakesh Moroccan restaurant in Costa Mesa. Her specialty skills include Raqs Sharki, Raqs Assaya (cane dance), and Shamadan (Candelabra). Marlena also teaches, veil, playing cymbals, cane and important aspects of this art form in keeping it sophisticated, elegant and classy. |

Amna Mazin Amna acquired a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from University of Southern California in in 2006. She always managed to nurture her passion for dance throughout her life by studying it since the age of 8, and teaching & choreographing since the age of 13. It wasn't until after three years of working in the Corporate industry as an Information Technology consultant that Amna finally decided to leave her job in pursuit of a career in Dance - her lifetime passion and love. She has been teaching and choreographing dance in the Los Angeles, Inland Empire and Orange County areas full time ever since. Amna is considered a fusion dancer with a strong background in Bollywood and Latin & Ballroom Dance styles. She has worked closely under the guidance of Nakul Dev Mahajan, STYCD's Bollywood choreographer. You may have seen her work in So You Think You Can Dance and music videos such as 'Teach Me How to Dougie' |
